    Senior Pastor

Brian has served as Senior Pastor at FBC Vandalia since September 2016. Before coming to Vandalia, he and his wife Melissa served as IMB missionaries to Madagascar, which is where they met (he would be happy to tell you the story).

On serving as pastor at FBC, “We have a great church family here at FBC Vandalia. I am humbled to be used by God as he transforms lives through his word. Melissa and I enjoy serving the church as we all strive to glorify God and make disciples through our worship, our words, and our actions.”

Brian is a graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange University (BA English, History), Memphis University (MA English – ESL), and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MTS).

Beyond serving the church, Brian’s passions include spending time with his bride and their daughter Rosemary, following sports, fishing, and playing board games.

Feel free to contact Brian by email or by calling the Church Office.

Nathan joined the staff at FBC Vandalia in January 2023.  Nathan previously served at Hannibal-LaGrange University from 2016-2023.  He and his wife, Gaby, met at HLGU in 2010 and were married in February of 2015.

"We are so blessed to be serving at FBC Vandalia.  It has already been so beautiful to see the body of Christ serving one another and the community and we are so thankful for the Lord leading us here.  Gaby and I are excited for this new chapter the Lord has opened for our family and look forward to what the Load will do through His church."

Nathan graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Music Education.

Outside of worship/church ministry, Nathan enjoys bird hunting, fishing, camping, clay target shooting, yard work, and of course spending time with his wife and three children:  Charlie, Rilla Mae, and Elsie.

The goal of FBC Vandalia is to serve the needs of the community in many ways.

If you are in need of prayer you are not alone.  We all need to pray and can be blessed through prayer.

Prayer can truly change things.  If you have a concern you would like to have lifted in prayer, please feel free to contact our pastor.
